Why can I not find a PreciselyID in Property Graph that was returned from the MLD Geocoder, or that is available in one of the foundational products?

Property Graph is based on the latest versions of the following products:

  • Address Fabric
  • Buildings
  • Parcel Boundaries
  • Property Attributes Assessment
  • World Premium Points of Interest

These products have differing release schedules and use the latest version of MLD or Address Fabric available at the time of production. Because release schedules for the foundational products differ, the vintages of MLD or Address Fabric can also differ. Refer to the metadata file to see which vintage of MLD or Address Fabric was used in each relationship class.

When troubleshooting missing PreciselyIDs, use of the Change Log files available with MLD or Address Fabric is recommended.

How can the MLD geocoding or Address Fabric datasets provide a coordinate location code of AP05/P05 (structure centroid) if there is no building footprint (BLDGID)?

There are a few reasons why an address in MLD/Address Fabric returns an AP05/P05 location code but may not have an associated building footprint (BLDGID):

  • As data sources are continuously improved and enriched, discrepancies may arise between MLD/Address Fabric location codes and Buildings, Parcel Boundaries, and Property Attributes datasets
  • Location codes from MLD/Address Fabric provide a geocoding precision level for the latitude and longitude of the specific address record. These codes are based on qualified sources used in the MLD build process.
