The EnterWorks 10.6 release has resolved the following issues. Numbers in parentheses indicate Support and Jira tracking tickets associated with the resolved issues. EnterWorks 10.6 includes all release updates from EnterWorks versions 10.5.1 and earlier.

APIs

  • Resolved: When data is uploaded to EnterWorks using the API, change notification does not start workflows. When we import data or perform a manual update, the workflows are started. (Support 69069, EW-10616)

Change Notification

  • Resolved: When Change Notification and Change Notification Transformation rules are processed and they reference multi-language attribute non-default language variant values, they cannot be accessed if the referenced language was not modified for the event that invoked the rules. (Support 65345, EW-6045, EW-10790, EW-10791, EW-10792)

  • Resolved: The CN_Registry trigger against DAMMaster is not firing. (Support 67310, EW-9930; EW-10854; EW-10855; EW-10886)

  • Resolved: During a delete record event, when '||CHANGED_BY||' is referenced by CN_Transformation, it is returning null as value. When '||CHANGED_BY||' is referenced during a Create/ Edit event, it is returning the right value. (Support 69661, EW-9745)

Data Management

  • Resolved: The snapshot table column for date fields is cleared if the month or day is not two digits. (EW-10447)
  • Resolved: When the clone capability is configured for a repository, the selection of repositories to include does not persist. (Support 73473, EW-9468, EW-10730, EW-10731)

  • Resolved: When we try to delete records, an error is generated and the following message appears in the logs: Error processing request: Date/Time search parameter cannot be converted to a valid Date/Time: <time>. (EW-8006)

Digital Asset Management

  • Resolved: If a user is impersonating another user, if they upload an image, the DAM upload bar stops at 20%. (Support 72443, EW-10452)

Imports and Exports

  • Resolved: An export using a template generates an error if the user does not have read access to all the repository's linked repositories, even if the link relationships are not used in the export template. (Support 69868, EW-9006, EW-10495, EW-10618, EW-11127, EW-11128)
  • Resolved: If a category template is used, the records will be created but the record will not be populated in the snapshot table unless any attribute with a default value is set to relational. (Support 72571, EW-10673)
  • Resolved: EDI Preprocessor (EdiPreProcessor.java) is failing if Maximum_Consecutive_Elements is not set. (Support 75406, EW-10168, EW-10795, EW-10796, EW-10797)
  • Resolved: An export using a template generates an error if the user does not have read access to all the repository's linked repositories, even if the link relationships are not used in the export template. (Support 69868, EW-9006, EW-10495, EW-11127, EW-11128)
  • Resolved: Multi-repository imports with the validate afterward option do not validate all the repositories if the import file does not have data for one or more of the repositories. (EW-9887, EW-9888, EW-9889, EW-8972)
  • Resolved: An export using a template generates an error if the user does not have read access to all the repository's linked repositories, even if the link relationships are not used in the export template. (Support 69868, EW-9086. EW-10617)
  • Resolved: Delete Inactives Scheduled Import removes all items from the snapshot table except the top 50000. (EW-9295)
  • Resolved: Sometimes after an export template is updated, the cache must be cleared before the updates show. (EW-9351)
  • Resolved: When records are imported using a Category Type import template, records are marked as being uploaded by the System user instead of the user that actually performed the upload. The records are created with a security context of 0 instead of the security context of the user who uploaded the file. (Support 72571, EW-9367)
  • Resolved: The security context is not populated when a Category type import template is used. (EW-9696)
  • Resolved: When the end of an EDI file is reached during EDI preprocessing, the current data bucket is output to the target file. This is done to ensure that the data in the final output section is captured. However, this happens even if there are no output sections. (Support 68862, EW-9899, EW-9900)
  • Resolved: EDI PreProcessing makes incorrect decisions when a segment matches a child and sibling section. (Support 68861, EW-9903)

Promotion

  • Resolved: Promotions from staging to production are failing to run and they lock up the server. (Support 75789, EW-9991, EW-10018, EW-10019, EW-10020)

Record Editors

  • Resolved: In the New UI's Record Editor, when some attribute data is displayed, it is displayed on top of data from other attributes. The text does not word wrap. (Support 38840, EW-8857)
  • Resolved: In the Filter sidebar, if you select, then unselect filter terms, the filter terms are displayed twice. (Support 61873, EW-8922, EW-9390, EW-9391, EW-9392)
  • Resolved: The Group and Tab validation flag colors and counts do not represent all language variants. (EW-9499)

Scheduled Jobs

  • Resolved: The Scheduled Export process flow has activities missing after patching with the latest service framework build. (EW-10760, EW-10762, EW-10673)

System

  • Resolved: The out of the box "UCC UPC-8 Algorithm" and "UCC UPC-11 Algorithm" to verify check digits are not working. (Support 73672, EW-10459)

Workflow

  • Resolved: The Amazon S3 BIC is only retrieving the first 1000 files. This affects Scheduled Imports and Workflow. (Support 72061, EW-8583, EW-8584, EW-11246, EW-11389)
  • Resolved: The SQL Update Repository Records BIC activity in the Services Framework does not populate the list of internal record IDs of records that have been created or updated. (Support 84224, EW-12356)
  • Resolved: When a workflow starting point is configured to use a Work Item Type for its submission form and that Work Item Type has one or more fields that have the Required option set, the Send to Workflow operation does not require the required fields to be populated. (Support 52417, EW-2823)
  • Resolved: When the EnterWorks API is used to change record data, the records are updated but the change notification workflows are not initiated. (Support 69069, EW-8743, EW-10615)
  • Resolved: The CreateWorkItemBic.jar file in the EPX patch must be removed because it overwrites the correct version in Services Framework. (EW-9537)
