The EnterWorks 10.6 release has the following known limitations. Numbers in parentheses indicate Support and Jira tracking tickets.

Address Validation

  • The Address Validation editor's Valid Address list uses standard column headers instead of the names of the attributes used to create the address. (EW-12526)

  • The Address Validation editor's labels and buttons are not localized. They are only displayed in English. (EW-12436)

Data Management

  • When a new record is added and a taxonomy node is selected, sometimes taxonomy child nodes are not displayed to be selected. (EW-12715)
  • An error is generated if you are signed into the New UI under a non-English session language, a preference is applied in a repository view, and records are sorted by a multi-language attribute. (EW-12845)
  • An error is generated if you try to create a preference with the same name as an existing preference. (EW-13437)

Imports and Exports

  • When Mapped CSV, InDesign CSV, XML and JSON templates are created, the UI's labels and buttons are not localized. They are only displayed in English. (EW-9373, EW-9374)
  • A user is who is assigned to the Administrator group cannot import templates. (EW-3233)

Search and Filters

  • Saved searches of hierarchy nodes can only be created and edited in the New UI, not the Classic UI. (EW-12532)
  • An error is generated if you are signed into the New UI under a non-English session language, records are filtered on a non-multi-language attribute, then records are filtered on a multi-language attribute. (EW-12851)

Security

  • If a repository has a ten digit security context, we cannot browse it or save records. (EW-12168)

SmartTemplate Pro

  • When SmartTemplate Pro versions 2 or 2.2 are used with EnterWorks 10.6, if a SmartTemplate Pro template is created, when Refresh and Validate is selected, the process stalls then a message appears that states there was an error while fetching data from EnterWorks.

    • Workaround: Revalidate the affected EnterWorks repositories.

Third-Party Software

  • JasperReports is not supported in EnterWorks 10.6. If you need JasperReports it is recommended you do not upgrade to EnterWorks 10.6.

Widgets

  • No data is shown if you are signed into the New UI under a non-English session language and a Filter Report widget is configured to display a multi-language attribute in a saved set.. (EW-13474)
