The EnterWorks 10.5 release has resolved the following issues. Numbers in parentheses indicate Support and Jira tracking tickets associated with the resolved issues.

Change Notification

  • Resolved: If a record is deleted, when '||CHANGED_BY||' is referenced by CN_Transformation, it is returning an incorrect value. The logs are showing the username as 'system' instead of the name of the actual user. (EW-9841)

Data Management

  • Resolved: The HTML Editor is not correctly processing bullet points and other formatting. (Support 61953, EW-6221)
  • Resolved: In the New UI's Record Editor, when some attribute data is displayed, it is displayed on top of data from other attributes. The text does not word wrap. (Support 38840, EW-8857)
  • Resolved: In the New UI's repository view, if a user searches an attribute for a particular value and no values are found, then they click the + Add button to add a record, the new record is created and the attribute is filled with the searched value. But if the user then attempts to save the record and an error is generated, the searched value will disappear from the attribute. (Support 64123, EW-6914, EW-8058, EW-8060, EW-8061)
  • Resolved: The error message: EPIMLogger.severe - EXCEPTION(GET /webcm/rest/api/users/undefined/groups is encountered in most environments. (Support 65888, EW-7530, EW-7896, EW-7966, EW-7967)
  • Resolved: When we try to delete records, an error is generated and this message appears in the logs: Error processing request: Date/Time search parameter cannot be converted to a valid Date/Time: <time>. (Support 66493, EW-8006)
  • Resolved: The New UI is not decoding XML encodings for some records. (Support 67220, EW-8135, EW-8495)
  • Resolved: When the EnterWorks API is used to change record data, the records are updated but the change notification workflows are not initiated. (Support 69069, EW-8743, EW-10615)
  • Resolved: The out of the box "UCC UPC-8 Algorithm" and "UCC UPC-11 Algorithm" to verify check digits are not working. (Support 73672, EW-10457)
  • Resolved: When a multi-language attribute's non-default language variant is edited, the edited value is saved to the default language variant of the attribute. (EW-8672)
  • Resolved: The Language dropdown and Google translate options are not displayed on the multi-language editor for repeatable multi-language attributes. (EW-9138)
  • Resolved: In a repository view, the Audit History's Action column label is not localized according to the selected session language. (EW-7339)
  • Resolved: In a repository view, Audit History data does not load when the History option is selected from the More dropdown menu. (EW-7263)
  • Resolved: History data does not load when the History option is selected from a repository view's More dropdown menu. (EW-7659)

Digital Asset Management

  • Resolved: When a digital asset is placed in the DamDrop folder, no node is created for it in the hierarchy. (Support 74646, EW-9738)
  • Resolved: When an image is uploaded by a user impersonating another user, the upload bar stops at 20% and only some of the variants are created. (Support 72443, EW-10451)
  • Resolved: When Digital Assets are placed in DAMDrop, the DamHierarchy is not populated. (EW-1675)

Imports and Exports

  • Resolved: Imports into VARCHAR attributes that have a default value of empty string instead of null are very slow and they timeout if more than 500 records are imported. (Support 67157, EW-8028, EW-8549, EW-8550)
  • Resolved: An export using a template generates an error if the user does not have read access to all the repository's linked repositories, even if the link relationships are not used in the export template. (Support 69868, EW-9086. EW-10617)
  • Resolved: Importing with an alternate key that is also a profile primary key attribute fails if not all primary keys are provided. (Support 42435, EW-8200)
  • Resolved: Multi-repository imports with the validate afterward option do not validate all the repositories if the import file does not have data for one or more of the repositories. (EW-9887, EW-9888, EW-9889, EW-8972)
  • Resolved: When an Import using a template is performed, the security context is not populated. (EW-9586, EW-9678)
  • Resolved: In JSON exports with a defined template, repeatable attribute values are not appearing as expected. (EW-8910) Note: Repeatable attribute values in JSON exports are exported in a new format. For more information, see: Multi-language Behavior for JSON and XML Export Templates.
  • Resolved: When records are imported using a Category Type import template, records are marked as being uploaded by the System user instead of the user that actually performed the upload. The records are created with a security context of 0 instead of the security context of the user who uploaded the file. (Support 72571, EW-9348)
  • Resolved: When a Chinese language file is imported, some of the values are imported to default language values instead of the Chinese language values. This issue was related to a CSV row size error. (Support 58776, EW-6645)
  • Resolved: When the end of an EDI file is reached during EDI preprocessing, the current data bucket is output to the target file. This is done to ensure that the data in the final output section is captured. However, this happens even if there are no output sections. (Support 68862, EW-9899)

Promotion

  • Resolved: Promotions from staging to production are failing to run and they lock up the server. (Support 75789, EW-9991, EW-10018, EW-10019, EW-10020)

Scheduled Jobs

  • Resolved: A Scheduled Export process flow has activities missing after patching with the latest service framework build. (EW-10760, EW-10762, EW-10673)
  • Resolved: Delete Inactives Scheduled Import job removes all items from the snapshot table except the top 50,000. (Support 72848, EW-9294)

Search and Filter

  • Resolved: In the Classic UI, if an advanced search using a linked search criteria is created, when the search is saved, the linked search criteria is not saved with the search. (Support 65560, EW-7484, EW-8283, EW-8285, EW-8374, EW-8384)
  • Resolved: Today and Yesterday keyword-based search and filter are not supported for multi-language attribute non-default language variants. (EW-7754)
  • Resolved: In the Filter sidebar, if you select then deselect filter terms, the filter terms are displayed twice. (Support 61873, EW-8922, EW-9390, EW-9391, EW-9392)

Snapshot Tables

  • Resolved: If a DATE attribute that is in the snapshot is set to a date that has a month or day value that is one digit and does not have a leading zero, the snapshot table column is cleared (null). Inserting leading zeros saves the value in the snapshot. (Support 76656, 76913, EW-10446)

Workflow

  • Resolved: The CreateWorkItemBic.jar file must be removed from the EPX patch as it overwrites the correct version of the file included with Services Framework. (Support 74650, EW-9537, EW-9560)
  • Resolved: The LockWorkflowActivity stored procedure sometimes gets stuck in busy environments. (Support 68863, EW-9299)
  • Resolved: High volume updates to a repository that has Change Notification logging enabled may overwhelm the EPX. (Support 65874, 69602, EW-9300)
  • Resolved: When a workflow starting point is configured to use a Work Item Type for its submission form and that Work Item Type has one or more fields with the Required option set, the Send to Workflow operation does not require the required fields be populated. (Support 52417, EW-2823)
