EnterWorks 10.5.5 Release Notes Overview

Product released: September 25, 2023

Improvements and new behaviors:

• When digital assets are uploaded through the Upload Digital Assets widget or through the DAMMaster repository, status updates are displayed for each asset. The number of digital assets currently being uploaded is also indicated.
• When a record attribute's history is displayed in a staging repository, if the record has been promoted, the first row of the history displays the attribute's current value in the production repository. It is now labeled to indicate it is in production and the rollback icon has been removed.
• In a repository view, if a record contains a URL and the Go button is clicked, the URL is opened in a tab instead of in an iframe.
• Workflow Task Manager no longer displays functions to non-administrative users that they cannot use.

EnterWorks 10.5.4 Release Notes Overview

Product released: June 8, 2023

Improvements and new behaviors:

• Snapshot table jobs have been streamlined to enhance system performance. (EW-13666)
• For performance reasons, full text search queries must now specify at least two characters before a wildcard character (asterisk).
• Search options for repeatable attributes have been restricted. (EW-13824, EW-13999)
• The ability to enable or disable a user group's capability to access the following functions in DamMaster has been added: Upload, Regenerate, Cleanup, and Image Report. Also the setting to enable or disable the capability to Rollback records now only appears in the Toolbar Options capability list.
• Security improvements have been made for EPX work items. (EW-13851)
• Validation and promotion jobs that deadlock will wait a configurable amount of time, then attempt to run again.
• System performance can be enhanced by turning off the automatic validation of a record's linked records when the record is opened in an editor. The repository.editor.item.linkeditemlisting.validate shared configuration property already controls that behavior for the Classic UI. Now the New UI's behavior is also controlled that property. (EW-13827, EW-13835)
• The Classic UI's export template editor allows you to select image priority values. The upper limit of the values is now configurable. (EW-7705)
• Microservice log files will be generated in JSON Lines format unless configured otherwise. The currentLoggingLevel flag in DamReportUtility-config.json has been renamed to loggingLevel. (EW-12491, EW-13887, EW-13888)
• Each microservices will now generate one .out log file rather than both a .out and a .err log file. The two files have been combined. (EW-12493, EW-13889, EW-13890)

EnterWorks 10.5.3 Release Notes Overview

EnterWorks 10.5.2 Release Notes Overview

Product released: January 9, 2023

New behaviors:

• Prior to EnterWorks 10.5.2, depending on how an XML export template's output layout was edited, code set descriptions would either be tagged as nameDesc or name_description. Now they are always tagged as name_description. Also, the label on the button used to save the changes to the template has been changed to Save. A Close button has been added to close the editor without saving changes. (Support 80196, EW-11427, EW-12243, EW-12249)

EnterWorks 10.5.1 Release Notes Overview

Product released: November 7, 2022

New behaviors:

• Change Notification and Change Notification Transformation rules are now processed when referencing multi-language attribute non-default language variant values.
• When records are edited using the Detail Editor's Multi-edit function, the Add, Update, and Remove buttons do not appear for editing a code set.
• Fusion scenarios are now only accessed via IP address and cannot be accessed referencing the Fusion host server name.

EnterWorks 10.5 Release Notes Overview

Product released: August 3, 2022

Updates include:

• UK Locale configuration: Fresh installations of EnterWorks 10.4 can be configured to support the United Kingdom date format in addition to the US date format.

• Parent Child Unified View: The Detail Editor can be configured to show a Parent Child Unified View. If two repositories have a parent/child link relationship, the relationship can be configured so that when a record in the child repository is opened in the Detail Editor, selected attribute values from its parent record can be displayed side by side with the child record's attribute values. The set of the parent repository's attributes that will be displayed can be filtered by either specifying a Preference or by filtering the list of attributes to include only those attributes whose name begins with a specified prefix.

• Product Specifications: Services Framework releases are now synchronized with EnterWorks core product releases. Services Framework version 2021-05-20 is certified against EnterWorks 10.4. One cannot be used without the other.
