If a field is multi-language, EnterWorks allows you to store a value for the default EnterWorks language and one for each of the additional languages EnterWorks is configured to support. Your user permissions determine which of the values you can see, access, and edit.

Multi-language fields are marked with a Multi-language icon . When you edit a multi-language value, you will be editing the language value for the session language. To see or edit all the language values, click the Multi-language icon . An Edit Multi-language pop-up window will appear.

Edit Multi-language window

The Edit Multi-language window lists the value for each supported language. If you are using the New UI, the Language dropdown list at the top of the Edit Multi-language window allows you to select if you want to see the text edit boxes for all the supported languages or if you want to see only one.

You can enter your own text into the text boxes or if the Multi-language icon appears to the right of a text box, you click the icon and a translation of the default language's text edit box will be generated and entered into the box. If you are using the new UI, you can have EnterWorks generate translations of the default language's text box value for all the supported languages by clicking the Multi-language icon by the Language dropdown list.

To save the changes to the Multi-language field and exit the Edit Multi-language window, select Apply. To exit without saving the changes, select Cancel.
