Managing a Pending Event's State is performed in the Classic UI.

  1. Log into the Classic UI.
  2. Open the desired repository.
  3. Open a list of the repository's Events, see View a Repository's Pending Events Requests.
  4. Select an Event.
  5. Open the Action dropdown and select Manage State.
  6. The default Item State will be Active.
  7. If a workflow is using the Record Requires Approval and Request Requires Approval options, the record needs to be in an Approved state for the job to run.
  8. The Record Status section corresponds to each record associated with the scheduled pending status.
  9. The Request Status section corresponds to all pending requests that have the same Request Name.
Note: There is no provision for creating multiple pending transactions with the same Name (also called a Pending Request) through the UI. This can be done through a batch import only.
  10. The following table lists the pending record fields and their valid states.

    Pending Transaction Fields

    Valid States

    Record Applied Status

    Pending, Pending Approval, Active, Complete

    Record Requires Approval

    Approved, Needs Approval

    Request Status

    Pending, Pending Approval, Active, Complete

    Request Requires Approval

    Approved, Needs Approval

Record Status refers to the particular record within the scheduled Pending Request.
Request Status applies to all the records that contain the same Request Name as the pending transaction. This lets a user change the status of all pending transactions or approve all pending transactions with the same Request Name.
  11. Check the Request Status after the scheduled time.
