The Preview function allows you to view the content of the record within the repository without having to download them to a local folder. This function will only be enabled if a template is linked to a user preference in the selected repository. For information on how to configure the preference for the records to be previewed, see Add or Edit a Preference.
To preview a record
- Open the desired repository in a Repository View. To do so, open the Feature sidebar, select the appropriate folder, and select the desired repository.
- Select a record from the repository and open the More dropdown menu by
clicking the
button on the activity bar of the Repository
View and selecting Preview. The Preview window appears, displaying the details of the selected record.Note: The preview will display the record details in JSON format only if the preference is linked with a template. If there is no linked template associated with a preference, the preview will display the same details as the preview window of the Gallery view. - Use the arrow buttons in the top right corner of the Preview window to move to the next or previous record.
- Optionally, click Download in the Preview window to download the previewed content to your local folder. In addition, you can only download content that appears in JSON format.
