Data model changes require that the data cache is cleared after the change is made. Do not perform any changes that require the data cache to be cleared.
Components that should not be changed during the freeze are:
- Groups: Access privileges are configured at the user group level. Do not edit, add, or delete user groups. You can assign or remove users from groups.
- Profile definitions: Do not add, edit, or delete profiles. Do not add edit or delete profile properties, attribute definitions, attribute properties, or validation rules.
- Repository definitions: Do not add, edit, or delete repositories, including changing a repository's properties. You can edit the data in repository records.
- Folders: Do not add, delete, or modify any folders.
- Data sources: Do not add, edit, or delete.
- Sequences: Do not add, edit, or delete sequences. It is okay that the values of sequences will change as data is edited.
- Association groups: Do not add, edit, or delete.
- Transmission options: Do not add, edit, or delete..
- Attribute Security Filters: Do not add, edit, or delete.
- Record Security Filters: Do not add, edit, or delete.
- File definitions: Do not add, edit, or delete.
- Templates: Do not add, edit, or delete.
- Style Maps: Do not add, edit, or delete.
- Home page and Dashboard layouts and configurations: Do not add, edit, or delete widgets. Do not create, edit, or delete group dashboards.
- Server properties (such as shared configuration properties): Do not edit server properties.
- Snapshot table definitions: Do not add, edit, or delete snapshot tables. It is okay to drop or rebuild snapshot tables, but do not edit snapshot table properties.
- Workflow: Do not change the behavior of any existing workflows or add new workflows. You can continue to use the existing workflows.
Components that you may be able to change are:
- Code Sets: If your environment allows users to edit code sets at any time, then they are not part of your data model. It is okay to edit them. Do not add or delete them.
- Taxonomies: Do not add, edit, or delete them. It is okay to assign records to nodes or to add, edit, or remove nodes.
- Hierarchies: Do not add, register, edit, or delete them. It is okay to assign records to nodes or to add, edit, or remove nodes.
- Users: You can add and edit users and you can assign or remove users from user groups.
