A user group can have two dashboards, one for each UI. The terms "dashboard" and "home page" are used interchangeably, however, "dashboard" is often used for the New UI and "home page" is often used for the Classic UI.

Before a group's New UI dashboard can be configured, a Classic UI home page must first be created and saved for the group, even if you don't add any widgets to the home page.

To define group's home page and dashboard:

  1. Define the group's Classic UI home page:
    1. Log into the Classic UI as a user with administrative privileges.
    2. In the Feature bar, open Users and Groups , then select Groups.
    3. Select the group, open the Action dropdown, then select Edit Home Page. The Edit Group Home Config editor will open.
    4. If you want widgets to appear in the group's Classic UI homepage, configure them using the widget control icons to add and configure the widgets. If the group will only be using the New UI, you do not need to add any widgets, but you will need to save the layout.
    5. Click the Save icon to save the layout.
  2. Configure the group's New UI dashboard:
    1. Log into the EnterWorks New UI as a user with administrative privileges.
    2. If you are not a member of the group, assign yourself membership to the group:
      1. Open the Feature bar, open Administration, then select Groups. The Groups tab will open.
      2. Select the group, then click Assign User.
      3. Select your username from the Available Users list, then click the right arrow to move it to the Selected Users list.
      4. Clicking Apply.
      5. Close the Groups tab.
    3. Use the dashboard dropdown selector on the far left of the dashboard's ribbon to select the group whose dashboard you want to edit.
    4. Use the Add Widget button on the ribbon to add widgets to the dashboard and arrange them as desired.
    5. When you are finished editing the dashboard, click the Save Layout button on the ribbon.
