Manage Attribute Tabs - Precisely_EnterWorks - EnterWorks - 11.0

When attributes are displayed in the detail editor, they are grouped into Attribute Groups. Attribute Groups are grouped into Attribute Tabs. The assignment of attributes to Attribute Groups and of Attribute Groups to Attribute tabs is defined in a repository's profile. To change these assignments or to change the display order Attribute Groups or Tabs, the profile must be modified. Any changes you make to a profile will affect all the repositories that are based on that profile.

The management tasks for Attribute Tabs are:

• View a repository's Attribute Tabs in the Attribute Tabs list
• Create or edit an Attribute Tab
• Delete an Attribute Tab
• Change the order in which Attribute Tabs are displayed in a record

Open the Attribute Tabs list

To view a repository's Attribute Tabs:

1. Log into EnterWorks Classic as a user with Administrative privileges.
2. Open the repository's Attribute Tabs list by opening the Feature bar, opening Content, opening the repository's folder, clicking the arrow to the right of the repository's name, selecting Manage Model, then selecting Attribute Tabs.
3. The Attribute Tab listing will appear. It shows the currently defined Tabs and their display order.

Create or edit an Attribute Tab

1. Open the repository's Attribute Tabs list.
2. To create a tab, open the Action dropdown and select New.
3. Or to edit an existing tab, open the Action dropdown and select Edit.
4. The Attribute Tab Details editor will appear. Enter or edit the name of the tab and a description (optional). Do not include special characters in the name, such as & < > ". 
5. Click OK. The Attribute Tab Details editor will close. If you have created a new tab, it will appear at the bottom of the list.

Delete an Attribute Tab

To delete an Attribute Tab:

1. Open the repository's Attribute Tabs list.
2. Select the Tab you want to delete, open the Action dropdown menu and select Delete.

Change the display order of a repository's Attribute Tabs

To change the order in which a repository's Attribute Tabs will be displayed:

1. Open the repository's Attribute Tabs list.
2. Open the Action dropdown menu and select Set Display Order.
3. Select a Tab and use the Up and Down buttons to move it to the desired position. When you are finished, click the OK button to close the editor.
