Warning: Editing a code set, hierarchy, or taxonomy can affect existing attribute values dependent on the upon them. If an active code is deactivated, any attribute values that have that value will be flagged as invalid. If you modify an existing code, you will have the option to update existing attributes in repositories that use the code set with the new values or to have them retain the old values.

To import codes from a file into a code set, edit the code set using the Code Set editor and choose to Import from a file.

An alternative way of opening the code set in the Code Set editor to import the codes is:

  1. Log into the Classic UI as a user with administrative privileges.
  2. Open the list of code set folders by opening the Feature bar, opening Model, and selecting Code Set.
  3. The existing code sets will be displayed, grouped in folders. Open the code set's folder.
  4. Select the code set, open the Utilities dropdown, and select Import.
  5. The Code Set editor will open. Edit the code set's settings:
