Adding an attribute or removing an attribute from the snapshot table requires the snapshot table to be dropped and rebuilt, which may take a while. While the snapshot table is in the process of being rebuilt, its contents may not be accurate until the process is complete, therefore it is recommended that you only update the snapshot table after regular business hours.

To add or remove an attribute from the snapshot table:

  1. Log into EnterWorks Classic as a user assigned to the Administrator group.
  2. Select Repositories from the Quick Links dropdown menu on the top right of the screen, or from the Feature bar, open the Model tab, and select Repositories. The Repository list will open.
  3. From the Repository list, single-click to select the repository that contains the attributes to add or remove from the snapshot table.
  4. From the Action dropdown menu, select Edit, then select Attribute Properties. The Attribute Properties editor will open.
  5. Edit the configuration options for each attribute you want to add or remove from the snapshot table:
    • Relational: If this is selected, the attribute will be included in the snapshot table.
    • Create Index: If this is selected, an index will be created for the attribute in the snapshot table.
  6. Click the Save button at the bottom of the screen.
  7. Check the Job Monitor to see if a snapshot table rebuild was triggered. If it was not, drop and rebuild the snapshot table. You may need to refresh the Job Monitor to see the job's current status.
