The menu bar contains options for Process Modeling commands. Some menus and menu options appear only when certain Process Modeling components are accessed.

Term Description
Navigator

Depending on the component selected, allows you to create a new instance of the component (or a new instance of any component, if a server is selected first), open or delete the component, log in or out of a server, and quit Design Console.

Note: Menu appears only when the Navigator pane is the active window.

Role

Allows you to add a schedule or members to a role, save the role or all unsaved objects, revert to the last saved version of the role, adjust the print settings and print the role, close the selected role, and quit Design Console.

Note: Menu appears only when a Role editor is the active window.

Work Item Type

Allows you to set the field order or key order for metadata, add or open a metadata element, save the active work item or all unsaved objects, adjust the print settings and print a work item, close the selected work item, and quit Design Console.

Note: Menu appears only when a Work Item Type editor is the active window.

Process Flow

Allows you to save the process flow or all unsaved objects, revert to the last saved version of the process flow, validate the process flow (if the Process Flow Modeler tab is the active tab), adjust the print settings and print the process flow, close the selected process flow editor, and quit Design Console.

Note: Menu appears only when a Process Flow editor is the active window.

Manual Activity

Allows you to save the selected Manual Activity or all unsaved objects, adjust the print settings and print the activity, close the selected Manual Activity editor, and quit Design Console.

Note: Menu appears only when a Manual Activity editor is the active window.

Automatic Activity

Allows you to save the selected Automatic Activity or all unsaved objects, adjust the print settings and print the activity, close the selected Automatic Activity editor, and quit Design Console.

Note: Menu appears only when an Automatic Activity editor is the active window.

Split Conjunction

Allows you to save the active Split Activity or all unsaved objects, revert to the last saved version of the Split Activity, adjust the print settings and print a Split Activity, close the selected Split Conjunction Activity editor, and quit Design Console.

Note: Menu appears only when a Split Conjunction Activity editor is the active window.

Join Conjunction

Allows you to save the active Join Activity or all unsaved objects, revert to the last saved version of the Join Activity, adjust the print settings and print a Join Activity, close the selected Join Conjunction Activity editor, and quit Design Console.

Note: Menu appears only when a Join Conjunction Activity editor is the active window.

Decision Point

Allows you to save the active Decision Point Activity (DPA) or all unsaved objects, revert to the last saved version of the DPA, adjust the print settings and print a DPA, close the selected DPA editor, and quit Design Console.

Iterator Activity

Allows you to save the active Iterator Activity or all unsaved objects, revert to the last saved version of the Iterator Activity, adjust the print settings and print an Iterator Activity, close the selected Iterator Activity editor, and quit Design Console.

Note: Menu appears only when an Iterator Activity editor is the active window.

Work Item Merge Activity

Allows you to save the active Work Item Merge Activity or all unsaved objects, revert to the last saved version of the Work Item Merge Activity, adjust the print settings and print a Work Item Merge Activity, close the selected Work Item Merge Activity editor, and quit Design Console.

Note: Menu appears only when a Work Item Merge Activity editor is the active window.

Work Item Priority Activity

Allows you to save the active Work Item Priority Activity or all unsaved objects, revert to the last saved version of the Work Item Priority Activity, adjust the print settings and print a Work Item Priority Activity, close the selected Work Item Priority Activity editor, and quit Design Console.

Note: Menu appears only when a Work Item Priority Activity editor is the active window.

Load Balancer Activity

Allows you to save the active Load Balancer Activity or all unsaved objects, revert to the last saved version of the Load Balancer Activity, adjust the print settings and print a Load Balancer Activity, close the selected Load Balancer Activity editor, and quit Design Console.

Note: Menu appears only when a Load Balancer Activity editor is the active window.

Subflow Activity

Allows you to save the active Subflow Activity or all unsaved objects, revert to the last saved version of the Subflow Activity, adjust the print settings and print a Subflow Activity, close the selected Subflow Activity editor, and quit Design Console.

Note: Menu appears only when a Subflow Activity editor is the active window.

Personal Subflow Activity

Allows you to save the active Personal Subflow Activity or all unsaved objects, revert to the last saved version of the Personal Subflow Activity, adjust the print settings and print a Personal Subflow Activity, close the selected Personal Subflow Activity editor, and quit Design Console.

Note: Menu appears only when a Personal Subflow Activity editor is the active window.

Remote Subflow Activity

Allows you to save the active Remote Subflow Activity or all unsaved objects, revert to the last saved version of the Remote Subflow Activity, adjust the print settings and print a Remote Subflow Activity, close the selected Remote Subflow Activity editor, and quit Design Console.

Note: Menu appears only when a Remote Subflow Activity editor is the active window.

Ending Point Activity

Allows you to save the active Ending Point Activity or all unsaved objects, revert to the last saved version of the Ending Point Activity, adjust the print settings and print an Ending Point Activity, close the selected Ending Point Activity editor, and quit Design Console.

Note: Menu appears only when an Ending Point Activity editor is the active window.

Subflow

Allows you to save subflows or unsaved objects, revert to the last saved version of the subflow, validate the subflow (if the Process Flow Modeler tab is the active tab), adjust the print settings and print the subflow, close the selected Subflow editor, and quit Design Console.

Note: Menu appears only when a Subflow editor is the active window.

Personal Subflow

Allows you to save personal subflows or all unsaved objects, revert to the last saved version of the personal subflow, validate the subflow (if the Process Flow Modeler tab is the active tab), adjust the print settings and print the personal subflow, close the selected Personal Subflow editor, and quit Design Console.

Note: Menu appears only when a Personal Subflow editor is the active window.

Remote Subflow

Allows you to open the editor for an existing remote subflow, close the selected Remote Subflow editor, and exit from Design Console.

Note: Menu appears only when a Remote Subflow canvas is the active window.

BIC

Allows you to save description and security properties for the active BIC or save all unsaved objects, revert to the last saved properties for the BIC, adjust the print settings and print the BIC’s description, close the selected BIC editor, and quit Design Console.

Box Profile

Allows you to save Box Profiles or all unsaved objects, revert to the last saved version of the Box Profile, adjust the print settings and print the Box Profile, close the selected Box Profile editor, and quit Design Console.

Edit

For the Process Flow Modeler tab in a Process Flow editor, allows you to undo and redo changes to a flow; cut, copy, paste or delete flow activity icons; and select all activities and transitions in a flow.

For activity editors, allows you cut, copy, paste or delete selections.

Note: Menu appears only when a flow or activity editor is the active window.

Tools

For Process Flow editors, allows you to set user options for Design Console.

For activity editors, allows you to launch the Work Item Purge editor or Interactive SQL editor, and set user options for Design Console.

For the Navigator pane, allows you to import or export flows or work items, monitor or purge work items from a flow (if a process flow or subflow is selected), and set user options for Design Console.

View

Allows you to adjust the viewing preferences for a flow, including the alignment and layout of flow activities.

Note: Menu appears only if a flow canvas is the active window.

Window Allows you to toggle the Navigator pane on and off, select one of six arrangements for viewing open windows, and refresh the contents of the active window
Help Allows you to access help and view version and copyright information for EPX
