You can choose to let users or participants assigned to an activity set priorities for work items in TaskManager. Alternatively, you can choose a priority that overrides any previously set priorities.
To specify work item priorities:
If the activity’s editor is not already open, right-click the activity’s icon, and then click Properties in the shortcut menu.
Click the Details tab.
Select a priority from the Work Item Priority list.
For the first activity in the flow, to use the priority level set on the flow’s Priority tab, select Default.
For activities within the body of the flow, selecting a priority of Default causes the activity to re-use the same priority level that was used for the previous activity.
To configure an activity so that it has no priority, select None.
To assign the work item a system-defined priority level, select one of the five available system-defined levels: Lowest, Low, Medium, High, or Highest.
Note: Setting a system-defined priority level for an activity overrides any other priority level assigned to a work item earlier in the flow. The new priority level takes effect when the work item arrives at the activity.
