This activity sets the priority level to a specified level, for every work item version that passes through it.

In the process flow shown above, the work item priority activity receives work item versions from a DPA, and sets each work item version’s priority to Highest. Each work item version is then passed on to the next activity, with Highest priority, regardless of what its priority level was before.

To use a Work Item Priority Activity:

  1. Designate at least one activity as a starting point for the flow.

  2. Place the Work Item Priority Activity at a point after the starting point activity.

  3. Place at least one Manual or Automatic Activity after the Work Item Priority Activity.

  4. Place at least one Ending Point Activity in the flow.

  5. Draw Transitions between all activities.
