Exit Point Activities represent the end of a subflow, where work items are returned to the flow that called the subflow. Their purpose is simply to mark the end of the subflow.

To place an Exit Point Activity in a subflow:

  1. Click the Exit Point Activity button on the tool palette.

  2. Click the spot on the canvas where you want to place the Exit Point Activity.

  3. Right-click the Exit Point Activity icon and click Properties in the shortcut menu.

  4. On the General tab, type a name for the Exit Point Activity in the Name box and a description (optional) in the Description box.

If you do not specify a name when you create the activity, EPX assigns a default name such as Exit Point Activity (1).
