After you have set properties for each activity, you must connect them using a Transition. Without Transitions between activities, work items cannot travel between activities, and the process flow is invalid.
Click the Transition button on the tool palette. The mouse pointer turns into a crosshair.
Each Transition runs between two activities and directs the flow from the first activity to the second. Click the first activity to anchor the starting point of the Transition, and then click the second activity to anchor the ending point of the Transition. As you move the mouse pointer from the first activity to the second, you will notice that the point of the Transition arrow follows the mouse pointer. The Transition arrow is red, indicating that it is the active flow object. The arrow turns black as soon as you select another object.
