To assign privileges through an individual object editor, do the following:
In the Navigator pane, open the object (e.g., a process flow) for which you want to set security.
Click the Security tab.
To view all of the users or groups that you can assign privileges to for this object, double-click Users or Groups. The list of users or groups displays in the middle pane. You must double-click the folders to view their contents, and it may be necessary to open several folders to see the objects on which to apply security.
Click the user or group for which you want to change security settings, and then click the various actions that you want to enable, such as Read, Write, and Delete. You can select multiple consecutive or non-consecutive users or groups by holding down the Shift or Ctrl keys while clicking, respectively. You can also select the All checkbox to enable all actions.
Note: Depending on which object the security is to be set for, not all actions are available for selection. The operations SELECT, UPDATE, INSERT, DELETE, and EXEC are reserved for future use.
Repeat the above step for every user or group for which you want to set security preferences.
Click Apply to save your changes and keep the editor open, or click OK to save your changes and close the editor.
