Comparing carrier PCS to cellular license areas - Main

MobileMarketInfo can be used to compare a carrier’s PCS license area to its cellular license area.

1. Click Tools > Run MapBasic Program to open the Run MapBasic Program dialog.
2. Browse to the location of MobileMarketAnalyzer.mbx.
3. Select MobileMarketAnalyzer.mbx and click Open .
4. Click the Analyze Carrier button, which opens the Analyze Carrier dialog.
5. Enter the carrier’s DBA name in the Enter DBA field.
6. Select the PCS radio button.
7. In the DBA data section of the Analyze Carrier dialog, check the Show check box.
8. Click the DBA data > Border Style button to set the style for the PCS region’s borders.
9. Click the DBA data > Fill Style button to format the PCS region’s fill.
10. Click OK . The carrier’s PCS territory is displayed in a map.
11. Click the Analyze Carrier button again to open the Analyze Carrier dialog.
12. Enter the carrier’s DBA name in the Enter DBA field.
13. Select the Cellular radio button.
14. Check the DBA data > Show check box.
15. Click the DBA data > Border Style button and select a border style different from the one selected for the PCS region border.
16. Click the DBA data > Fill Style button and select a fill style different from the one selected for the PCS region fill.
17. Click OK .

The carrier’s cellular map is drawn over the PCS map, allowing you to compare cellular and PCS territories.
