Support for MapInfo Native, NativeX table vector formats and .MRR raster formats
MapReveal™ software allows to import MapInfo Supported tables and .mrr raster files. In Addition to import, MapReveal™ software allows to export vector data into .tab files.
Support for Precisely Basemaps
Precisely Basemaps are available for users to use in Map Sessions. Three versions: Iron, Bronze, Steel are enabled in MapReveal™ software.
Support for External Map Services
MapReveal™ software allows to consume URL of external map services. Specification of Map URL are as below:
- Only HTTPS URLs are allowed.
- URL in z-x-y format is only accepted. Such as
https://tile.opentopomap.org/{z}/{x}/{y}
- Google map URLs are not accepted.
Support to Search Address by Geo Addressing API
MapReveal™ software supports to locate addresses of the United States on the map screen using Precisely Geo Addressing API. For India, the software has inbuilt datasets of address locations ingested in the self-managed ElasticDB which helps to find and plot the addresses swiftly on the map screen.
Change in the workflow of User Signup and Adding the user
User roles and permissions are managed through existing authentication and authorization system. However, Admin role with complete access of the software can sign up through validation process. In addition to that, other user roles within the same organization can be invited to access the software.
Configurable Publishing of Map Sessions
MapReveal™ software provides an option to publish Web Map URL with two different pre-set layouts. Both these options are configurable and the users can add legend box, search bar and enable click or hover based feature attribute access on the published maps.
Adding vector layers to Map Session from My Data
This feature enables the user to add their required vector, raster or tabular datasets to map session from My Data.
User Management Module
MapReveal™ software enables a more secure experience for administrator users to invite analysts and field users (surveyors) using an email-based invitation link instead of enforcing credentials by the administrator. The invited users can sign up to their organization and set up their password themselves.
Secured Database Access through MapReveal™ Web interface
- Only authorized users on MapReveal™ software with specific roles will be able to access the Elasticsearch/Opensearch service for accessing all indexes (Data Library as well as Map Search data)
- Unauthorized users attempting to access the Elasticsearch service would receive an appropriate access denied message.
Python Compatibility with Spatial Tools
Tools on MapReveal™ software are developed on Python Packages for better performance and precise desired tool output.
