Vector is a data structure used to store spatial data. In Vector based model, geospatial data is represented in the form of co-ordinates. The basic units of spatial information are points, lines and polygons. Each of them are composed simply as a series of one or more co-ordinate points.
This section contains a collection of tools for analyzing location datasets in tabular or vector formats. The tools provided for vector datasets in the MapReveal™ software are grouped into five subsections: Spatial Analysis, Geometry, Grid, Network Analysis and Statistical Analysis. The Table Join tool has a distinct subsection to explain its capabilities.
