The Projects module consists of two sub-modules: Projects and Forms. To create a new project, navigate to the Projects sub-module and follow the steps below:
  1. Click the icon on the top right corner above the listing and 'Add New Project' screen will appear.
  2. Enter a value for Project Name which will be used throughout the data collection, and assigned forms will be displayed under this project title. You can also create multiple projects as required.
Warning: Project Name is a mandatory field.
  3. Click the icon to assign forms that were created in the 'Forms' sub-module. You can assign as many forms as required since the software has no restrictions.
  4. While adding forms to the project, you can also rearrange the forms on the web interface so that the field user can prioritize the data collection accordingly.
  5. Click the Save & Proceed button to navigate back to the Add New Project screen.
  6. Select one or more Surveyors from the list to assign them to the project.
  7. When you click Create, you are redirected to the 'Projects' sub-module screen, where the newly created project is listed with the existing ones if they were previously created.
Important:
  • Projects are customizable but cannot be deleted once created.
  • If “Select Form” or “Select Surveyor” step is skipped for later, then this process should be completed before starting the data collection as field users and forms must be aligned with the project.

By creating the project, the field user will be able to initiate the data collection from the field. Only assigned surveyors to the project will be able to access the forms which are linked to the project. Surveyors can be given access to multiple projects and within which multiple forms can be linked.
