If an object or node underneath the cursor has z and/or m, then z and/or m are shown in addition to x and y values in the status bar only when the Snap to Node functionality is enabled.
To enable the Snap to Node functionality, open the Spatial tab in the menu and Click Snap to Node, which will show the z/m value present in the node or object in the cursor location of the status bar.
Once the Snap to Node functionality is enabled, you can see a cross-hair
icon, and the Z and M values are shown for the following objects:
- Region
- Polyline
- Point
- Multipoint
