What is the purpose of Local Elevation Source?
To add a Local Raster image as an elevation source.
When is Local Elevation Source active?
This command is always active.
How do I access Local Elevation Source?
- On the 3D tab, in the Elevation group, click Sources.
- Click Add on the Elevations Sources dialog and then select Local Raster Image.
Dialog
Select a local Raster Table, Field, and Band for the elevation source.
Enter a Name and Description for the elevation source.
Uri
The full URI to the Tile Server, along with any API keys, if needed.
Attribution
Any required attribution for the source of the data.
Null Elevation
Value to be used as elevation when the cell is NULL. Value is in meters.
Process Image
Click to process the image now. This converts the image to popular visualization CSYS, converts it to RGB elevation format, and saves it as a PNG image. Optionally, you can also tile it.
Clear Cache
Deletes any cached files for this image source, forcing them to get regenerated the next time they are used.
Elevation Decoder
Enter the elevation decoder settings.
