If you do not see the server you are looking for in the WFS Servers List dialog box, you can add a server.

  1. On the PRO tab, click Options, and Web Services.
  2. In the Web Services Preferences dialog box, select the WFS tab.
  3. Click Servers to open the WFS Servers List dialog box.
  4. Click Add to open the WFS Server Information dialog box.

In the WFS Server Information dialog box you can add the new web server address and description in the fields provided. This same dialog box opens when you click the Edit button in the WFS Servers List.

  5. Enter the WFS server's URL in the Server URL field.

Click Test URL to ensure that MapInfo Pro can locate the server.

Click Get Description to get the server-provided description, or enter your own description.

Click OK when you are finished, to save your changes and close the WFS Server Information dialog box.

  6. In the WFS Servers List dialog box, click Set Default to select a default server in the list.

The default server will be selected the next time you open the Open WFS Table dialog box. When you set a default WFS server, a check mark appears beside it. If you do not select a default server, MapInfo Pro displays the first server in the list when you begin your WFS Server session.

  7. When you have completed your work in the WFS Servers List, click OK to return to the Web Services Preferences dialog box.

To edit a WFS server, select the server from the WFS Servers List dialog box and click Edit to open the WFS Servers Information dialog box. From here you can test the URL and get detailed information on the server.
