Creating Statistical Calculations - MapInfo_Pro - 2023

You can perform statistical calculations on a column in a table or query/selection. These statistics can then be used in other applications.

To perform statistical calculations for a column:

1. On the MAP tab, in the Options group, click Map Tools, and click Statistics to open the Calculate Column Statistics dialog box.
2. Click the Table drop-down list to display a list of available tables.
3. Select the table you want to use by clicking on the table drop-down columns.
4. Click the Column drop-down list to display a list of available tables.
5. Select the column you want to use.
6. Click OK. The Column Statistics dialog box displays. The Column Statistics dialog box displays statistics for the specified table's column.
