About PDF Attributes
The following kinds of data are included as PDF attributes:
- Tabular data, such as data from fields in columns, can be written as PDF attributes.
- Only data from selectable layers is included.
- Data is included from all columns.
- If an object gets drawn, it is included.
- Data is grouped by table.
- If the same table is included multiple times as different layers, the attributes only appear once per table.
Some objects are not drawn due to clipping, yet their attributes are included in the PDF.
Viewing PDF Attributes in the PDF File
To view PDF Attributes in Adobe Acrobat, click Tools, Analysis, and then Object Data Tool. The attribute data displays in the Adobe Model Tree tab.
When using the Object Data Tool to select an object in the PDF file, the first click on an object selects all objects from that table. The second click selects just that one object. You must have Add Attribute Data to PDF turned on in MapInfo Pro before generating the PDF file to see attribute data.
