The Table List window lets you perform operations for open tables in MapInfo Pro using fewer clicks. You can organize tables into groups and sort them alphabetically and recently opened first.
Group by Type
Use this check box to alphabetically group the open tables of a particular type into a list.
- ListView - tables are displayed as a list.
- TreeView - tables are grouped according to the type they belong to.
To see the table names of the open tables, expand or collapse the groups using + and -.
Ungroup by Type
Use this toggle button to switch to list view mode.
Ascending order
Use this button to sort tables in ascending order.
Descending order
Use this button to sort tables in descending order.
Recently Opened First
Use this button to sort tables based on the order they were opened. The most recently opened table displays first. In Tree View, the table type nodes always display in ascending order.
