Use this dialog box to add or edit routing server settings.

Service URL

Internet address for routing server.

Description

Description of routing server. You must add a description for the OK button to enable.

User ID

If permission is required to access the server, enter the user name.

Password

If permission is required to access the server, enter the user password.

Remember Password

Select to have MapInfo Pro remember the password when accessing this server. Otherwise, you will be asked for a password the first time you access this server after launching MapInfo Pro.

Test URL

Click this button to make a connection to the listed routing server.

Override Timeout Values

Use these options to locally override the timeout values set for the current server in the Web Services Preferences dialog box. Select the Override Default Values check box to enable the timeout value fields for this server.

Connect Timeout

Indicates the amount of time (in seconds) allowed to establish an Internet connection request to a routing server. If the request takes longer than this value, a timeout occurs. The default connect timeout is 60 seconds.

Send Timeout

Indicates the amount of time (in seconds) allowed to send an Internet request to a routing server. If the request takes longer than this value, a timeout occurs. The default send timeout is 60 seconds.

Receive Timeout

Indicates the amount of time (in seconds) allowed to begin to receive a response from a request from a routing server. The download can take longer than the timeout, but the response has to occur within the timeout setting. The default receive timeout is 300 seconds.

Add a description in the Description field to enable this button.
