This dialog box allows you to specify the bounds and units for your non-earth coordinate system. You can use positive or negative numbers to specify the minimum and maximum X and Y values.

Coordinate Bounds

If you want to create a floor plan that is 20 inches wide and 10 inches high, choose inches and enter the following numbers for Coordinate bounds:

Min X: 0 Min Y: 0
Max X: 20 Max Y: 10

When you create a Non-Earth map, it is important to specify bounds that are large enough to hold all the objects you want to put in the map. You cannot create objects outside the bounds of a map, and you cannot increase the bounds of an existing map.

Coordinate Units

The following coordinate units are available:

  • Inches
  • Feet
  • Yards
  • Miles
  • Millimeters
  • Centimeters
  • Meters
  • Kilometers
