The box at the top of the Digitizer Setup dialog box displays a list of control points that you created. The box displays the X and Y coordinates for each point. The coordinates display in the units set with the Map Units drop-down list.
The box also indicates the error for each point. The error is in paper units, which you specify in the system preferences.
Control Points
The Control Points box has buttons that allow you to add a control point, edit a control point, remove a control point, or clear all control points.
Add
Accesses the Pick Tablet Point dialog box. This dialog box displays the location of your puck as you move it. Pressing a digitizer button selects the location as a point and the Add Control Point dialog box displays.
Edit
Accesses the Edit Control Point dialog box. This dialog box allows you to edit the control point that was selected (highlighted) in the Digitizer Setup dialog box.
Remove
Removes the control point that is selected (highlighted) in the Digitizer Setup dialog box.
Clear All
Remove all the control points. The projection is then reset to the projection of the active window.
Map units
Choose the map unit from the drop-down list that matches the coordinate units on your paper map. If the desired unit is not in the list, check to make sure you specified the correct projection.
Projection
Allows you to access the Choose Projection dialog box where you specify a projection for your paper map.
Buttons
Allows you to access dialog boxes that display information for configuring your digitizer buttons. Digitizer buttons are configured so you can enter points for drawing objects and complete polylines and polygons.
