What is the purpose of Voronoi (Objects)?
The Voronoi polygon is a partition of space into cells. Each cell is an area in that the contained points are closer to the enclosed site than to any others. This command on the Objects menu lets you generate these polygons from a designated set of points. You can create a Voronoi polygon within the same layer, or select points from one layer and place the Voronoi polygon in another layer. To save the polygons to a new or existing table, on the Table menu click Voronoi.
When is Voronoi (Objects) active?
When a layer in the active Map window is editable and the current selection contains at least three objects.
How do I access Voronoi (Objects)?
On the SPATIAL tab, in the Create group, on the Regions list, click Voronoi (Objects) to open the Data Aggregation dialog box.
