When a Map window is open and active and the Register Raster Image dialog box opens.
How do I access Select Control Point?
On the Table tab, in the Maintenance group, click Raster, and Select Control Point.
The Select Control Point command works in conjunction with the Register Raster Image dialog box. The first time you open a raster image file in MapInfo Pro, the Register Raster Image dialog box opens. The Register Raster Image dialog box provides an image preview; you can click on the image preview to add control points to the image.
The Select Control Point command gives you an alternate way of adding control points. If you choose Select Control Point, then click on a Map window, a control point is added to the raster image.
Choosing Select Control Point puts MapInfo Pro into a special mode. To cancel that mode, choose a command, such as the Zoom In command. This special selection mode is canceled automatically when you close the Register Raster Image dialog box.
