What is the purpose of Select By Location?

The Select By Location dialog lets you select objects from one table based on their location relative to objects in another table.

When is Select By Location active?

When at least two mappable tables are open.

How do I access Select?

• In the Selection group on the TABLE tab, click on the SQL list and then click on Select By Location.
• In the Selection group on the MAP tab, click on the SQL list and then click on Select By Location.
• In the Selection group on the SPATIAL tab, click on the SQL list and then click on Select By Location.
• You can also launch this command from the map window's context menu.
