To save a copy of multiple tables:

  1. On the HOME tab, in the File group, click Save Copy As to open the Save Copy As dialog box. Select one or more than one table from the drop-down list. Click Save to open the Save Copy of Table As dialog box.
  2. The following options are available in the Save Copy of Table As dialog box:
    1. Output Folder - Folder to save the output tables into.
    2. Name Pattern - Output file naming in pattern <prefix><filenale><suffix>.
    3. Sample - Displays sample based on the naming pattern.
    4. Save as Type - Type of output table, MapInfo Extended (NativeX) orMapInfo (Native).
    5. Charset - Character set of the output table, by default same as the source table.
      Note: Charset is enabled only if all selected tables have an option to set charset.
    6. Projection: Select the Override Projection check-box to choose the output table projections.
      Note: Projection is enabled only if all selected tables are mappable, and projection could be changed.
    7. Open Table - Select the Open New Tables check-box to set the View.
  3. Select the Save in Background when possible check-box and click OK to execute the save operation in the background.
    Note: This option is supported and selected by default for input table types Native, NativeX, OGR, and GPKG and for output to Native and NativeX.
    Note: When saving the tables in the background, the new table will not be listed in MRU, but the table can be Opened using the task command.
