When printing to the Adobe PDF printer, you must turn off Image Downsample. Since there are multiple versions of the Adobe PDF printer, these directions may vary based on which version of the Adobe printer is being used. These settings can be either be set at print time, or set in Control Panel Printers to change the default for all print jobs.
- On the HOME tab, in the Output group, click Print to open the Print dialog box.
- Select Adobe PDF Printer.
- Click Properties.
- In the Properties dialog box, select the General tab and click Printing Preferences.
- Select the Images category.
- For all types of Images (Color, Grayscale, Monochrome), set Downsample to Off.
- Click OK to close the dialogs and save your setting.
