You can combine several raster files together so that each input raster becomes individual fields or bands in the output raster.
To combine several raster files into one raster:
- On the RASTER tab, in the Operations group, click Raster Operations and then click the Combine button to open the Combine dialog box.
- In the Input File select files from the drop-down list or browse to a file location to select the required files.
-
From the Combine Inputs As drop-down list, select how
you want to combine the multiple rasters. You have three options in the
drop-down list to choose from.
- Bands of a Single Field - If you select this option, the selected input rasters will be added as bands to a single field in the output file.
- Individual Fields - If you select this option, the selected input rasters will be added as separate fields. The individual fields may have bands.
- Custom Mapping - Select this option to combine single-field legacy rasters and create a multi-band MRR raster.
- In the Output Raster Structure section, you can determine the field and band structure in the output raster. You can add or delete a filed/band. For example, you can delete a field or band by clicking on the button. The list is dynamically updated as you add or remove a field or band.
- In the Output File box enter the name you want to specify for your output file. Click to browse to the location in your computer to save the output file and select the required output file format.
- Click Process to start combining the selected raster files.
If Display Output File check-box is selected in the Output Settings, the new combined raster file opens in the Map window.
