The Point Inspection dialog box enables you to create an output vector file having grid values for input vector points.
Input File
From the Input File drop-down list select a raster file or click to browse and select the required input data file.
Point Inspection Options
From the Select Point Layer drop-down list, select the input vector file containing the points data.
- Select Point Layer - Specify the input vector layer containing the points data.
- Output Mode - Specify the output mode, you can either create a new TAB file or edit the input TAB file. If you choose to edit the input TAB file, you should create a backup of your input data file before selecting this option because it will modify your input data.
- Specify Null-Cell Value - Select this to specify a value for the null cells.
- Specify No-Cell Value - Select this to specify a value for the no cells.
Output File
Specify a name and location for the output file that you are creating. In the Output File box enter the name for your output file. Click to browse to the location in your computer to save the output file.
Click Output Settings to specify the following. The values in Output Settings are controlled by the Raster Preferences dialog; however, you can override those settings here.
- Display Output File - Select the check-box, if you want to open the output file in the Map window on completion of the operation. You can configure to make this the default behavior from the Raster Preferences dialog box.
