Calculating the Volume - MapInfo_Pro_Advanced - 2023

To calculate the volume:

1. Open your raster files in a map window.
2. On the RASTER tab, in the Analysis group, click Operations and then click the Volume button to open the Volume dialog box.
3. If the input raster is a multifield-multiband raster, select a field from the Select Fields, Bands drop-down list, you can then choose the desired bands from that field.
4. Select the required Volume Method from the drop-down list. There are two volume calculation methods.
   • Between Rasters
   • Above or Below a Constant Plane
5. Choose a Volume Action from the drop-down list. The options in Volume Action depends on the selected volume method.
6. Select Create Output if required. If you do not want to create an output file every time you calculate volume, leave this option.
7. Click Process to calculate the volume.
