To compute intervisibility between source and destination on the map:

  1. On the RASTER tab, in the Operations group, click Raster Operations and then click Line of Sight button to open the Line of Sight dialog box.
  2. Open a continuous raster in the map window.
  3. Make the cosmetic layer editable in this map window, and draw one or more lines across the raster.
  4. Select a line that you have drawn in the cosmetic layer on the map window.
    The Line of Sight window will refresh, displaying the profile of the selected line across the underlying raster surface.
  5. If multiple lines are available, use the SHIFT key to select multiple lines. The window will refresh to include a profile for each selected line.
    You can select data series from the drop-down list, you will have as many data series as the selected line objects on the map.
  6. Select a data series from the drop-down list to view the associated profile details.
  7. Click Options to change the display settings for the line of sight profile.
