Mapinfo Pro Advanced allows you to convert a raster into a vector containing closed polygon
features. The Polygonise tool takes a raster as an input and joins adjacent cells based
on the selected polygonisation method to form vector features. The output of
Polygonisation is a MapInfo .TAB file. The output .TAB file contains the polygon
information. If there are scattered cells in the input raster, individual polygons are
created for them.
