The Interactive Line of Sight tool offers a convenient way to analyze line of sight on the map. The interactive mode is quick and easy. When using Interactive Line of Sight you can virtually draw the line and see the profile pattern instantly. There is no need to make the cosmetic layer editable to create and select line object.
When you click the 
button, your mouse cursor changes into a crosshair cursor. Start drawing the line on the map in the map window and double-click to finish the drawing. As you finish, the profile is created and displayed in the profile window. To turn off the crosshair cursor on the map window, right-click and choose 
from the context menu.
The Interactive Line of Sight tool is different from Line of Sight tool in the following ways:
- The line object drawn on the map is temporary and it is not saved in the file.
- In the interactive mode, you can not draw multiple line objects on the map window.
