The Statistics tool gives you statistical information of the raster grid, such as, mean of all the cells, maximum value of the cells, minimum value of the cells, standard deviation of cells, variance of cells, etc.
To view statistics of a raster dataset:

On the Raster tab, in the Properties group, click Statistics
to display the Statistics window.
The Statistics dialog box contains information about the input raster dataset as shown in the figure below: -
Click Histogram
to generate a histogram graph of the color values of the raster cells.
You will see the histogram as shown below:
