Using the Raster Info Tool - MapInfo_Pro_Advanced - 2023

To view information about a raster dataset:

1. Open a raster file in the map window.
2. On the Raster tab, in the Properties group, click Raster Info to display the Raster Info window.
   The Raster Info dialog box contains information about the input raster dataset as shown in the figure below:

   
   

   

   
   
3. Click the Fields arrow to display the properties of the raster field.
   The field information is displays as shown below:

   
   

   

   
   
4. Click the Bands arrow to display the properties of the raster band.
   The band information dialog box displays as shown below:

   
   

   

   
   
5. Click Bands to go one level to the field information dialog box.
6. Click the Events arrow to display the properties of the raster event.
   The event information dialog box displays as shown below:

   
   

   

   
   
7. Click Close to close the Raster Info dialog box.
