You can display a continuous or imagery raster in RGB (Red, Green, Blue) mode. To apply RGB to the raster:

  1. Open a raster in the map window. MapInfo Pro Advanced displays the rendering options in the Display group.
By default, if the raster you have opened is an imagery, the Display Mode is set to RGB. If it is a continuous file, the Display Mode is set to Pseudo. You can switch between RGB and Pseudo by clicking on the button.
  2. Click the button in the Display group.
  3. From the Band Mapping select the desired band to map against the RGB channels. You can also choose a band combination from the Template to quickly apply the appropriate band combination for known raster types. There are templates for Image, Lands 7 and Landsat 8 data.

As you select a combination from the Template, the color is applied to the raster and the map view is updated. The changes are saved automatically within the file metadata, and the raster will be displayed with the same color settings when reopened.
