Purpose
Trims space characters from the end of a string, and returns the results. You can call this function from the MapBasic window in MapInfo Pro.
Syntax
RTrim$( string_expr ) string_expr is a string expression.
Return Value
String
Description
The RTrim$() function removes any spaces from the end of the string_expr string, and returns the resultant string.
Example
Dim s_name As String
s_name = RTrim$("Mary Smith ")s_name now contains the string "Mary Smith" (no spaces at the end).
