MakeDateTime() function - MapBasic - 2023

Purpose

Returns a DateTime made from the specified Date and Time. You can call this function from the MapBasic window in MapInfo Pro.

Syntax

MakeDateTime( date, time )

Return Value

DateTime

Copy this example into the MapBasic window for a demonstration of this function.

dim dX as date
dim dtX as datetime
tX = 105604123
dX = 20070908
dtX = MakeDateTime(dX,tX)
Print FormatDate$(GetDate(dtX))
Print FormatTime$(GetTime(dtX), "hh:mm:ss.fff tt")
