Purpose
Returns the number e raised to a specified exponent. You can call this function from the MapBasic window in MapInfo Pro.
Syntax
Exp( num_expr )num_expr is a numeric expression.
Return Value
Float
Description
The Exp() function raises the mathematical value e to the power represented by num_expr. e has a value of approximately 2.7182818.
Note: MapBasic supports general exponentiation through the caret operator (^).

e = Exp(1)
' the local variable e now contains
