Customers use the Ironstream API source to send their application data to Kafka. Kafka works in a publisher-subscriber model. Currently, when an Ironstream instance is started with Kafka as the destination, a “TOPIC” value is specified as a configuration parameter to which Ironstream will start publishing the data, as described in the KBA for SDF21H1.
